Mark Krecic thinks of his wood creations, the bowls, jars, urns, vases and containers, as the result of collaboration with the tree: “A kind of sympathetic conversation between humans interacting with a natural material and the conversation of the material itself. As moisture leaves the wood it shrinks, changes shape, and fibers can separate, generating what some would consider 'flaws.'
