Detroit photographer Andrew Ross Evans has one primary goal for his work: to make those who view it think. His striking images–surrealistic portraits and scenes–are meant to inspire those who see them to stop and wonder what the artist was trying to portray, and how the image can speak to them. His self-taught skills use darkroom techniques, not computerized tools, to create his unique point-of-view.
