She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in painting and sculpture from the Art Institute of Chicago, and has additional education and training from the Open Studio Project in Evanston Illinois, the Gemological Institute of America, the Penland School of Craft in North Carolina, the Oxbow School of Painting in Saugatuck, Michigan, and the Philadelphia College of Art.
Her work has been featured in numerous galleries and exhibitions since 1994 in the Midwest and beyond.
Idelle teaches classes on various aspects of jewelry making in the Southeast Michigan area.
She received a Spectrum Award from the American Gem Trade Association in 1987. She has been involved with several organizations including the Michigan Silversmiths Guild, the Society of North American Goldsmiths and the American Craft Council.
